In those times, resourceful millers looked for the best way to extract as much of nature's energy as possible. For visitors of the industrial museums in the Elbe-Elster-Land, history comes alive, along with a magnificant view.

It is 502 m long, 202 m wide and 80m high, its weight is 11.000t. The retired conveyor bridge is the biggest of its kind in the world and it is located on the shores of an old open-top mining area nearby Klettwitz.
